Ship Design Upgrades

I don't think this issue is getting enough attention. I think one more improvement needs to be made to ship design. I want to be able to click on a component and select an upgrade button that will replace that component with the same component in the same place and same size but the next version. As it is now, I have to remove all of the components and replace them with the latest in the list because I can't tell from the pictures what version I have installed on the ship.

At least a working tool-tip for the picture to tell us what the component is would be very helpful.

I can see where an automatic upgrade button might cause problems. Moving from Stinger II to III makes sense as it is smaller. Moving from Stingers to Harpoons does not work as well as the first Harpoon is bigger than the last Stinger.

I see your point. Ok how about a tool tip and when you click on it the graphic centers on, selects and highlights the componet on the ship.

I believe it *used* to do the above. Hopefully will do so again soon (the tool tip telling you what the heck the piece is).
