Need tips on keeping approval up on specific planets.

In my current game I have an overall approval of around 70% and most planets are there or above. However I have one particular planet that no matter how many approval + buildings I add, it stays at very low approval. I need help because I don't know what could be causing this nor how to correct it. It has 6 or 7 virtual reality centers and is barely at 40% approval. My tax rate is about 38% and all my other planets' approval ratings aren't ideal, but they aren't bad either... I'm very confused.

What's the population of said planet? From what I understand, the various happy buildings modify the remaining morale - so an insane pop count would benefit very little from a score of happy buildings.

There should be a tooltip explaining the various numbers if you hold your cursor over the 'Approval' percentage.

In theory, at least. I'd check, but any 3D app overheats my proc (fan dying) and the mobo safety feature kicks in.

How many farming upgrades do you have on the planet, and what is the PQ?

I almost never build more than 1 on a planet, because you end up having to waste more plots on morale boosting improvements. Don't really care if I am not maxxing my population.

Was it a captured planet? The AI might have chose a real nasty moral hit ethics choice. (or maybe you did )

Check planet details to see if any -morale modifiers are listed.

otherwise, sounds like a high pop world (for the PQ).
