Need some help.
I purchased this game a few days ago. To not go into any details as to why, I had used a different email address for 'purchasing' than the email address I used to set up my stardock account. Can't undo it. Wish I had not done this of course...but the damage is done.
So I email sales and ask them to change my email that I used to purchase the game with to the email i used for my stardock account. they reply that they have done so. But now, when I try to update the game, it fails saying that the registration info is invalid! I look at the logs it created and noticed that the account info still had my purchase email in it.
I try to fool the system, so I go into my stardock info and try to 'update' my account with a new email address...the purchase email address. Didnt' work. When I tried it I got a message 'email invalid, unable to logon to stardock central bla bla bla'.
I sent the good person in sales that claimed to have changed my email address a reply email hoping they can fix this...but in the meantime, what can i do to get my game updated? Is there a direct download link that doesn't have to go through stardock or anything like that?
