Consistent Crash on Startup (WinXP warning crash)

I've played the game twice in the correct 1280x1024 32bit resolution, with updated drivers for everything... First time was after install. Then tried playing again and got a Windows dialogue warning. I reinstalled everything and then I downloaded all the current files and beta patches and the Stardock thing. It worked without rebooting. Now, I tried playing a second time and I got the same Windows dialog warning. The is not even starting, it's not getting to your splash screen.

THIS is all the err file has in it -- game is not even loading. And yes I read all the KNOWN ISSUES sticky.

Can you post a dxdiag with your system specs? Go to the Start menu, Open the run line, and type in 'dxdiag' (no parenthsis). Click on the save all information box, and when it has collected all the info save the file as a .txt file. The first six or seven sections are the most important fro a first look - if you want to cut and paste them here I'll see if I can see anything.. (You can paste the rest, but it is a long file and to start the most important stuff is in the beginning.)

Well I downloaded new 2 week old NVidia drivers and it worked. I have not tried rebooting again though. It worked after each install/reinstall without rebooting, so hopefully when I check tonight it will still work. Thing is guys, these drivers are two weeks old. How current does your stuff need to ?

So I go to play for maybe 50-60mins and then I experienced the "unexpected" crash. I have 3GB of RAM, 32 MB Nvidia vid card, 3.6Ghz CPU.... I read on the known issues this is a known issue?

Guys, I bought and played your first title but I literally have spent more time installing/uninstalling/searching for help on getting this working than I have playing it. Sorry but my time is limited and if it crashes again tonight or tomorrow I'm returning it to EB Games. Thanks for quick reply, sorry for reality post. no flame intended just don't have the time for this. Thanks.
