New graphics/effects?

Please don't take this badly, Frogboy, but I'm wondering if there's any plans down the line to add in any more graphical effects....eye candy, as it were.

Additional - I love the game as it is, but I have this horrible feeling it'll get panned(sp?) by reviewers for "sub par" graphics.

I expect MoO3 will gave the same issue, though.

I don't think thw grafics are going in till 5 or Gamma,Froboy did mention something about cut scenes!!

jpub - have a lok at the Beta4 post from Brad - there is shed loads of movie and still eye candy to come! LOL

Well there are a lot of effects and graphics going in but they aren't in the beta due to size. There's about 10 minutes of cut scenes for instance.

What kinds of graphics and effects rae you looking for and I can tell you if they're going to be in.

Hmmm. That's a good question. I'm not personally looking for anything. Hell, you're talking to a guy who still plays Fantasy General.

Combat (both space and ground) would be one - is more eye candy going to show up there?

A lot of them are specifically event based - which I think would be fixed by cut scenes.

Umm...I know *personally* I'd like to see a lot more types of planet class pictures, and perhaps some reflection of the "urbanization" of the world in that picture.

Combat isn't going to change. I'm not sure what more coul be done there.

There are more planet class pictures coming though.

Probalbly more useful to explain where some of the cut-scenes will be. Next post.
