MY SERIAL NUMBER DON'T WORK

I bought the game yesterday and i found that i cant download the patch cause the serial number dont work.
The serial number i have is: [DON'T POST YOUR SERIAL NUMBERS] please send me an active serial number on [email protected] or activate that one

Same problem for me. I bought the game today but SDC says that serial number is invalid.
I thing SDC is

I sent a request to help activate my product, hopefully they are listening...

i tried to get a new key, but even my limited-edition-key doesnt work. Im from germany.
Write a email to the support, but didnt get an answer yet.

Please help!

I have the same problem...
Either my key is invalid on standard version, or will throw up an ASP error on special edition. The box is labled as "Limited edition" so I'm assuming the key is for special edition?

Hello Alex!
Looking at your e-mail, I suppose you bought your copy in Italy.
Some days ago I had THE SAME PROBLEM, but with the help of Stardock guys I resolved it quickly.
A valid serial number is made of 28 digits, BUT your code (...and mine) is made of only 25 digits.
It appears the problem with the registration is that KOCH MEDIA (Italian Distributor) or PARADOX (European Publisher) mis printed the serial number LEAVING OFF THE LAST 3 DIGITS.
I suggest you to send an e-mail to '[email protected]' explaining that problem. I did so. They will send you your COMPLETE serial number. Just have a little patience!

The title should say 'won't work' but leaving grammar aside.

Emailing [email protected] should fix your problems, it seems that there was a bit of a snaffu with the European copies of the game.

If you are in Europe, have the English retail box from Paradox and only have a serial number beginning with "GC2-" then click here to obtain the correct serial number

If you have purchased the Italian version then click here to obtain a fixed serial number.

If you do not fall into one of the above categories and are having problems with registering your serial number please send an email to me at [email protected] (please include your email address, nickname and serial number and the error you are receiving)
