I am having problems trying to get the game registered and getting the game updates via Stardock Central. The game is bought in Helsinki Finland, and the box says it is a Limited Edition, which I assume is the same as the Collector's Edition. The only serial number in the game package is in the back of the game manual, and I have been able to use it to download the Collector's Edition files and even install the desktop theme.
Next I downloaded Stardock Central and installed it. I created a Stardock.net account and then started Stardock Central. It notifies me of updates to GalCiv2 but it refuses to download the updates saying that it can't find registration information. I then clicked the Registration Info, chose Games, and picked GalCiv2 from the drop down menu. I entered the serial number from the back of the game manual and clicked Register. I then get the message that the serial number is invalid. I have tried re-entering the number several times, checking that it is correct from the manual, but still no luck.
So, is there some other serial number I'm supposed to enter? The one ini the back of the manual begins with GC2-
