After the first few frames, maybe a half-second or less, the video freezes while the sound continues. This applies to all in-game video. I can skip the video with Esc and continue to play normally. I'm experiencing this with Kohan 2 as well, so I know it's a Bink problem, but Bink's website specifically says "If you are having trouble with a game or data files from a game, you need to contact the game developer or publisher." Helpful, ain't they? I want to just reinstall my Bink codec or something, but I'm not sure how; Bink's "RAD Video Tools" plays the .bik files just fine, but Galactic Civilizations itself doesn't.
I have an Athlon XP 2700 processor, 1GB RAM, an nVidia GeForce FX 5200 with the latest drivers, and Windows 2000.
Any suggestions?
