When I'm running GalCiv2, I made a new race, and I'm playing a new game. I immediately want to make a new ship to complement the ones I have, and I go into the shipyard. Once I create a design, I try to save it with a new name and description.
Once I try to do this however, it tells me I cannot modify a core ship design! I made sure to click NEW when making the ship, so how could I be modifying a core ship design when it's entirely new?? Could someone help me understand how to fix this?
I am trying to name it "Phoenix". Is it possible there's a unit in the game called Phoenix and it thinks I'm trying to overwrite that one? Because I can save the design as New Design (with that name) but not as Phoenix.
