Bug: Ship's HP

Hi all,

This will be my first post on the forum, and here is the bug i found. After a battle, whenever I send a ship to a planet for repairing, the ship gets "Too much" repaired I guess, because it had a HP of one more than its total available HP.

Example: A ship that had 11/11, got down to 5/11 after the fight, and up to 12/11 after repaired (which shouldn't be possible). I can post a screenshot if it is needed. Thx.

#2) I don't know if this is actually a bug, but do fleets dissapear when they are sent into a planet? I create fleets, rename them, and when I send them to a planet for repair, the fleet is no longer a fleet, and when i take the ships out of the planet, i have to recreate the fleet and rename it etc... So if this isn't a bug then I hope other people are having the same annoyence and it would be fixed.

One last thing before I conclude (it already became a long post), I absolutely love this game! Great engine, great graphics and gameplay. With afew minor improvements, it can surely become one of best strategy games ever made! edit: here's the screenshot: edit2: corrected the format: http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/9116/galciv210hh.jpg

1) I experienced the 12/11 issue as well. I thought at first it was due to me completing micro repair bots at the same time the ship was sent in for repairs. It definitely did happen while the ship was being repaired in orbit.

2) Yea, sending a fleet to a planet disbands the fleet. Major annoyance. Instead sending the entire fleet, disband the wounded ship(s), send those over, and send over fresh ships from the planet to merge into your fleet.

For reasons that I haven't seen explained you can't have fleets in orbit (or on a planet, whatever you want to call it). You have to research and build the Orbital Fleet Manager for your ships on a planet to behave as if in a fleet.

Even if you have OFM your fleets do not persist - they still disband when they hit a planet. The OFM just groups your ships into fleets based on your logistics rating if you're attacked.

It's a big deal because when you're attacking with a fleet against a planet that doesn't have an OFM you fight each ship individually, one at a time. So your fleet will dominate.

Unfortunately - the same holds true in reverse. If you lack OFMs and get attacked by fleets it's not pretty.

Same here. My ships all had an extra hitpoint after repair. I sort of imagined it's because the crew got a chance to take a break and play some GalCiv during the repair.

It's good to see other people have the same problems too. Let's hope they get resolved.
