GalCiv II availability

Hi. I just stumbled acrosss info on this game, and as a big fan of the general genre I think it looks great and I'd like to get it. But, I hope someone can fill me in on some infomation (being new to the whole thing I don't know much, nor where to find it really. Poked around this website a bit but didn't really find what I need). I see a lot of stuff about buying by downloading, preorders, etc.

I live in northern Europe (Norway), and what I'd like ot know is when, where, and how I could get this game. Can I just DL it directly? Also, I saw mention of some extra features for preorders, is it to late for that?'

Yes, you can buy and download it here, and I think if you're doing it on Monday you're not too late for a "pre"-order.
