I don't know what's doing it, but I've been experiencing periods where, after working in a program for a while, then needing to switch to another that's already running behind the current app or minimized, clicking on the other apps taskbar icon does nothing. So, I'll click it again, because that's what us human chimpanzees do when it doesn't work on the first try. Then I start clicking on other icons, because surely one of those will work better. Then I get frustrated and beat my keyboard with my banana. But then at some point, Start11 seems to say, "Oh! Sorry I was sleeping there for a minute. Let me do all those things you just asked me to do" and windows start coming up, going down, coming to the front, going to the back, and whatever. Kind of like a delayed playback of mouse clicks.
I have the taskbar visuals set to give it rounded corners (I think that's the styling term used for it) and I might see that appearance change, during all this monkeying around, like as if it was set to a normal style taskbar, then become detached and with the rounded corners. Don't know if related.
Anyway, all was well with Start11 before I installed the new version over this past weekend which seems to coincide with the email notifications I got that 2.5 was now available.
Any of this making sense? Anybody else having super-lag?
