Hi,

Love the game, but I struggle and I know I suck for sure. I see streamers going 1/2vsX AI on hard and even worse and they seem to do fine. I mainly try to do 4vs4 or 5vs5 game and put all AI on easy.

I followed some guides on how to start etc so feel I got the start okay and I try to build a decent amount of ships.

But just today I lost my fleet twice and started all over again after that. Going to try a 3rd time today to see if I can be more careful and maybe run before all is lost to a better defended system and maybe use my defence to help me out.

What happend today was:
1. I was in war with one of the AI and felt like I am winning. I get on my screen that AI has constructed Titan but thinking I killed most of their fleet I was not too worried. As in many games a Titan is not always very frightning if it does not have a fleet to support it (like in EVE etc). Boy was I wrong, even with splitting up my forces it wrecked them. I gave up seeing it killed all my ships. Also they had that artillery rebels have and was nuking my planets did not really help either.

2. Just now, picked another map this time Ashred and went 4vs3 since I suck and during the game I took a system from a minor faction. Not much protection so was easy. I started to build some defences because it was close to nearest AI and also smaller faction. Some ships came in and left when they saw my fleet and I thought I was bigger than them etc. But guarded by builders while they building defence. 2 min later a HUUUUUGE fleet came in (no caps) and I was like "okay, abit many ships but they dont have caps so maybe I got this?" I had 3 or 4, all with items + lvl 3-7 range. Guess what, I did not have it. My caps did hold out really long time, but the sheer amount of range dps, wow...

So starting my 3rd game either today or tomorrow, might gonna check some youtube videos to see if I can get some tips/hits and improve.
