automated combat
1st of all: just quick combat and observe can be chosen. am ok with that. it's also clear that the battle is just a show of what was calculated internally. but given the chance to observe combat there are flaws in the combat system.
every pilot possessing missles wouldnt wait to aim them on a slow ship (out of range) in the back but instead would clear the fast ships to prevent them from destroying the own ship 1st. instead big and powerful ships die without using one shot of whatever weapon because their shooting target is not in range early enough.
there should be either a better target selection or a choosable aiming and approaching strategy (pre-combat)
its also disturbing that killing on galaxy map does not result in expierience.
minor translation issue (german)
situational report: civ x wants help against civ y and promises money for it
- response 2 translates back to english like : "sorry, but my civ cant take the load" (in german) is more or less ok
- response 1 translates back to english like : "we will (the) <civ y>." ("Wir werden dem <civ y>.") ... totally messy.
"Wir werden die <civ y> angreifen" (attack) or "Wir werden die <civ y> zum Frühstück einladen" (invite for breakfast)... something like that is ok. consequences (in popup) is missing too
