I'm new to GC 4 but I just had a planet flip without warning to a rival fraction. I could understand if it was under that fractions influence, but it was clearly under mine. It did not even go into revolt where at least I could gain the world back. Based on the loyalty of the governor it just flipped...no warning no backsies, just gone. Fortunately I was just 10 minutes from last nights save so I scummed saved, and promptly fired him and assigned him to a ministry were he promptly resigned. I have not played long enough to see its full effects on game play (11 hours) but I seriously do not like it. Now I have to figure it out the optimal placement of leaders on top of structures, cultural progression. an expanded tech tree, and policies. I guess I can shuffle leaders from ministers to governors to commander to... or simply not hire disloyal leaders, but it feels like the developers took a look at GC 3, and thought that other issues like the putrid combat system are fine, what the game needs is backstabbing governors. To clarify IMHO if your going to do this then make it a part of the game play not an event.. For all intensive purposes you might as well have an event called asteroid were one of my planets simply gets annihilated SMH
