I am playing a custom race "Phyrexian Plaque" with the Festron command ships, and 'Charon' ability to capture ships defeated in battle has not worked the entire game. See SS below.
Yes, a save with instruction on how to replicate (if applicable) is always helpful. If mods or if you have modded the game to include the Civ is also useful info.
