Win 7, Go or No

Hi, I've been playing GalCiv 3 for a long time now and when I a saw that 4 had gone to beta I got all exited. Then I read the specs and minimum was Windows 10. I'm still running a Win7 machine and am not in a position to upgrade at this time. The Hardware is up to the task though.

So the question is will it run on 7 or is it totally incompatible?
