Please explain to me why every game (I play on a huge map - 16 players) I choose 8 players for the game and 3-4 AI players always spawn close to me in the starting sector ??? Is it possible to make AI players spawn evenly across the galaxy ?? This is also logical and will make the game more balanced.

Yea this is my fault. I required that at least a handful of AI players start in the same sector as the player. We're going to create a setting for this.

The fact that there is going to be a setting for this makes me incredibly happy. Thank you for listening to feedback. People who want a knife fight can be happy. People who don’t want the first 15 turns being trying to out rush the computer for the limited core worlds in their sector can be happy. People who want it to be random to have the game unexpectedly throw things at them can be happy. I haven’t played past 35 turns this update because I wasn’t down for how close the AI started.
