When trying to join a lobby it only displays the background.  no GUI - just the rotating planet.

Friends are able see me join and leave (backspace) but I cant see anything even if I create the lobby.

It also says that it cant connect to the tachyon servers for ranked multiplayers but idk if thats relevant.

I've tried checking the game files on steam and messing with the settings but nothing seems to work.

My laptop is able to create/join just fine.  also single player games work fine.
