Greetings,
I have bought and played many of your games. While great, one of my favourite was playing as a pure tamer in FE : LH, without using human troops. This is obviously not in the spirit of the game, but I did like to highlight how awesome it was (and still is ) to fully utilize troops purely on what creatures the map came with. Even though Tamer only was limited to beasts, I had one hell of a time.
It was always great having to scout and find potential lairs, recruiting different tier of troops. And late game, the beasts were never overpowered compared to human troops, so a sense of urgency existed, and the variety of looks with many different abilities ensured that units had specific roles compared to how human troops worked.
For example, (Spiders were great tanks/poison/CC specialists, Bears were tanks/singular dps, Great Wolves were good damage buffers, panthers were great scouters/fast strike teams. etc) the list goes go. Add to that, I had to establish zones of control around the lairs to allow the units to re-spawn, which creates a new layer of difficulty.
It would be awesome if you guys would do a fantasy style turn based rpg which instead focused on capturing units from the environment and integrating as the races base line troops. This might seem like just a subtle difference, but that subtle difference creates a unique style of gameplay.
Nevertheless, I thank you for making FE:LH and making me countless hours playing.
