I was checking through the names for random stars when I came across my first name, Forster. I am honored. Thank you whoever submitted that. Never thought I'd see the day!

A first name.

 

My middle name is Porter, from a family whose members were good friends with my family. Especially in the American south it is not unusual for someone to have two 'last' names, or to have a 'first' name that is sometimes used as a last name also, like Scott or Henry.

Correct. it is my first name. Probably derived from a forrester, someone who worked in forests cutting trees in the past, I suspect. In my case, it was a family name in the past in England. Sorry to take so long answering your question, Dragoaskani.  I some how missed it entirely.
