Recently I have been playing the Ur-Quan Masters. It has brought back tons of awesome memories of playing Star Control 2 when I was younger. I loved that game and the aliens contained within it.

With the recent acquisition of the Star Control rights have you guys at Stardock ever considered (down the line) offering the Star Control races (perhaps as DLC packs) for GalCiv3? If they were rendered in the GalCiv style to match the game aesthetics (but based on their SC2 looks not their SC3 looks) as well as ships that match their classic designs these aliens would fit right in and add to the pool of alien races you could have on larger maps. I would add them into play often, if not, always.

The StarCon races are the only external races from another franchise I would ever consider playing with. Usually I am not into crossing franchises but I have always felt GalCiv possessed the same soul as Star Control. Years after StarControl was gone when I discovered GalCiv2 I was like THIS IS IT!!! Even though the game mechanics were very different I have always felt GalCiv was the heir to the Star Control universe. With that said I am so glad you guys are working on the next Star Control game! It is going to be GREAT! I am glad it is in the right hands!
