I bought this game ages ago, however I am having problems getting it from gamestop, I still have the product key, is there any way I can download it from steam using my product key?
I don't think so, but you can download the game from Stardock directly, if you have registered it. Just go their store and log into your account. You should find the game under My Downloads.
I do that, but it quotes my product key, and then says "Please install the GameStop PC app and logon with your GameStop/Impulse account to download this software. "
I have downloaded that app, but I cannot find Gal civ II?
That's strange. All of my copies show a direct download-link. Even the ones I bought before Stardock sold Impulse to GameStop.
