System Requirement Checking Tool

I would like to check if my computer can run the Alpha/Beta of GalCiv3 before I become a Founder. Is there some sort of system requirement checking tool or utility?

I don't think there is such a tool, at least not available (yet). However, you might want to have a look here;

I'll wait until Stardock releases some specifics about system requirements for the Alpha. My PC is pretty old and I don't want to drop $100 to be an Elite Founder only to find out my computer cannot handle it.

Simple buy/build a new computer

If it's old enough to be running Windows XP or Vista, than the answer is "no, it won't work".

If your PC is quiete old, then you need to find out, if you have DX10 or DX11 GPU. If not, then you can not run gal civ 3. Also, you need to have 64bit windows. Which is not as big deal, as you can simply install it. I think if your PC is older then 3 or 4 years, you might run into problems.
