Quick question on AI

Hi all, I would just like to know, if the AI in Twilight gets points to spend. By points I mean the usual points we spend pre-game, like 1 point for "highly creative".

If so, does this spending vary per game? Are there any rules the AI follows in spending these points?

They don't spend them, they are pre-set in their configuration file.

At least, thats what I understand of it.

So far as I know, if the remaining customisation points aren't spent, the AI spends them. How it chooses, no idea. I usually allocate the spending myself by customising the AI opponents.

Ah, well then.

It likely picks them at random if it does pick them at all...

Might be why all my enemy civs stall out...that -90% bonus to weapons might be making them little more than stun guns...

If you customise them, would they actually tweak their playing to the customised points, where appropriate?

From what I've seen, the AI performs as well as it can with what it gets...

I have a 1000% increase to research for 1 point bonus, and if applied to an AI, they will compele the tech tree faster than anyone else(except me).

What about AI character then? Are there "aggressive" profiles, for example, and do they get randomly assigned? If not, then we would always expect a passive Human race?
