Only the classic style in Windows XP

When you try to put a visual style, it automatically puts me a classic style.
How to fix this problem?
OS: Windows XP SP3 - x86
Soft: WindowBlinds v7.4

Trial or paid version?  Did it work before or is this a new install? Open WindowBlinds and go to About WindowBlinds, copy and then paste the info here.

Your machine does not support per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

This is because :

Your computer graphics hardware does not support acceleration of per pixel alpha.  WindowBlinds requires this for per pixel alphablended borders as without it performance would be poor.  Please see if you can obtain new drivers for your graphics hardware.  Recent ATI & NVIDIA boards should support this feature.  Onboard graphics tend not to.

The strangest thing that a trial version six working fine, but the seventh in any, or any purchased a trial.

You can use some of my earlier skins, I did not do per pixel borders in them. Should work okay. I know, not much consolation.

Detsle, pleas uninstall Windowblinds completely and run a registry cleaner (such as CCleaner) right after.  Reboot your computer then reinstall Windowblinds and see if that fixes the problem.

Just a thought, if you have previously patched your uxtheme.dll, you need to undo that patch before WB's will work properly.

OS is Russian.
The software is installed and the path chosen by default C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\WindowBlinds
Skins in the Shared Documents folder.

Detsle, Frankief was referring to other customizing software like msstyles. That software alters system files UXThememes.dll .

You might want to try to run sfc /scannow in Administrator mode (type in search box cmd then right click on that and 'Run as Administrator') to return your Windows system files to the official, correct version of Windows 7.

Then reboot, and try seeing if that helped.
