Ok I bought this I am running XP. Yest when I try to launch it CTD. What is the fix? I have also downloaded DOSBox. Ironically Master of Orion Runs. So the DOSBox problem is only with Master of Orion II.
This post should probably get moved to "Atari" since they're listed as the official publisher of MOO2. I'm not sure if I should use "report" to flag this for moderators to do so, as the post isn't actually objectionable, just misplaced. (Could a moderator PM me to let me know if I find a post in an incorrect forum, if that's an okay reason to report it, or if report is only for objectionable posts and not ones innocently mis-placed)
Have you tried the orion95.exe in the application folder?
This was the way to start the game from Windows, when i first played the game twelve years ago - well and it still worked, whenn i tried it last night
