Corporate Machine Crashes?

I have win xp...Nvidia 6200..pentium4 2.66 ghz cpu and a gig of ram...bought the game and after the new game screen it will freeze or crash.....sometimes it will run in win 98 compatibility mode but crash on exiting game..the weird part is if i install the demo it runs great!
