I have a question about setting up an open game. If I choose a custom race, I only can activate up to nine other races, but all in all there are ten. Is it possible to play with all ten predefined races at once plus me choosing a custom race?

IMO game can handle lots of "players", but game interfce is designed for a fixed number of mayor AIs. So even if you'd somehow manage to include all races, you'd not be able to make diplomacy with all of them.

The max number of AIs are 9 major players and 8 minors.
hmmmmm..... I posted to this thread just yesterday and now my reply is missing....
anyway, just wanted to add that there can be also some additional "Minor"-races popping in by an Event, such as the 'Fundamentalists' or 'I-League'....
Wasn't there a mod that allowed you to enable all 10, long time ago?
I remember hitting a bug, possibly during the DA beta where I had ten in. It caused issues on some of the foreign info/rankings screens. If ranked outside the top ten in anything it would just say something like Data not found error or some such.
