recently i got myself a new computer with Windows 7 64 bit. When I tried to start a new game in GalCiv II it would stop after choosing the initial settings and drop out to windows (actually windows said the game stopped reacting).

Looking at debug.err showed me the reason: It looked for the data (all those xml files and Campaigns, Scenarios & Tutorials) under GalCiv2\Data\, but the everything was installed beneath GalCiv2\Data\English\ (which is the same path as with XP, where everything worked fine).

So it is unlikely that something went wrong with the installation (another installation with a fresh download gave the same result). So I copied everything one folder up and the game works again.

My question is does somebody know where the information is stored in which folders the game should look for the needed information (folder structure), as it would make more sense to make the change here than to copy folders.
