First of all, hello, first post here and all. Got the game a few hours ago, im not a big fan of turn based but making my own ships and taking over the galaxy just sounded too good to be true . I'll probably come around here a bit more often once i get rooted properly into the game. I do have a few issues though.

1. After designing my first ship, which is a complete mess might i add (compared to the ones in the ship thread, holy shit), and adding a balanced amount of weapons, armors and engines i saved the monstrosity and lo and behold in the browser section. No stats. Whats up with that?

2. Is there a decent guide on ship building that details the things you need to be mindful of when designing new ships?

3. What mods are there available for enhancing ship building?

EDIT: Right, i feel like a right twat about now. The stats came up, after restarting the game. Any tips? I'd love some criticism as well  . It's meant to be a flagship of some sort with the entire ship formed like one large cannon.
