GalCiv2 Ultimate Edition troubles

Hello Folks,

I bought a new pc in December and GalCiv2 Ultimate Edition ran great till 5 days ago.

I havent installed or changed a thing in this pc I am aware of either.

Please read the 2 messages I get and see if you can help me. I really miss alien genocide, it helps me sleep at night.

Was anything in particular happening in the game when it crashed?

No not really. I had another precursor ranger I bought from another race on the way back to a planet and was at war with the i-league but wasnt in any battles or such at the time.
On a note , game stopped operating again while in setup of a new game last night after I sent you this.
Only thing I can really add beyond this is I get exactly 3 turns into the game then it crashes there. I am unsure what began at the 3rd turn, my activity was idle at that point.

Since your video drivers are nine months old (pre-windows 7 release), try getting the latest ones fom ATI and see if that helps.

Otherwise this doesn't look like any currently known issue, so you should contact support@stardock.com for further help (if they can't they'll pass the case on to the devs).

I am having the same c0000005 exception error, which I think is a memory access error or something similar. Did you get any help resolving this?
