For all educational purposes Pluto IS a planet. And what 13-planet system....there are only 9 in this solar system.
actually for all education porpuses schools are no longer to call Pluto a planet. Any school that does is using old books sorry. And Xer0 is right, there are 13 planetoid objects in our system. there are 3 behind Pluto roughly Pluto's size hence the problem if we call pluto a planet then we have to call these planets as well. Also there is a 4 th object with a very eliptical orbit around the Sun. Usually we do not notice it. But yeah we either have 8 or 13 planets, not 9.
Any planetoid that is about the size of Pluto, and orbits the sun, should be considered a planet.
Now, if you're saying that there are 4 more planetoids that are about the size of Pluto, and have their own separate orbit around the sun, then I am willing to accept this 13-planet system.
