hello there, i hope everyone can understand my poor english. i try to be as exact as possible:

so when i start DA(or DL) everything works just fine, i can goof around in the preferences, credits, all that stuff. so i decide to start a new game, still everything in order, deciding on galaxy and race settings works perfectly.

so when i hit the last "next-button", the one thats followed by the loading picture, the game simply crashes. as usual the error report isnt exactly helpfull for me.

anybody any ideas?

my specs are:

amd 64 x2 5400+

ati radeon x1950 pro with the newest drivers available

msi mn2-e mainboard(here is a typo i believe, cant remember correctly)

 2gb of ram

and i use windows xp
