Demigod Tournament Details Revealed

LAGWAR is happy to announce the details on our Supreme Demigod Challenge! Linked below are the prizes, rules, and tournament details that we feel will make a fun and competitive tournament. These are what we plan on rolling with as of now but are subject to change given any patches that Stardock may implement or if there’s enough feedback from the players requesting changes be made.

If you plan on entering LAGWAR’s Supreme Demigod Challenge be sure to leave us any and all feedback that you may have in the comments thread below or send us an email to tournaments@lagwar.com

What's your problem? The work Lagwar.com is doing to promote the esport side of Demigod is fantastic, and you should be ashamed that you fail to see that. People like you is the reason the Demigod community is starting to look more and more like the DotA scene.

 

Hail Lagwar.com for doing this. It's great, fantastic and just what Demigod needs. I'll try get a team up for this, low-skilled or not, just to show my support.

I would suggest opening registration now, that way you can get an idea of how many people are interested, and you can send out a wave of emails to all of the interested people when you set the dates for the actual tournament.

 a bit of discussion about prizes in the latest Lagwar podcast. http://lagwar.com/home/archives/7167

 

also, if you're interested but can't come up with a team, i would recommend posting an advert in the forums here for a partner.  I would recommend posting and asking for partners with a better than 50% win record to pair up with. (of course you should have a good record with your chosen demigod as well!!)

 

we're approaching the registration start, should be soon. not more than 2 weeks and not less than 1 day. somewhere in that nebulous area!!

There's a comment in the linked post above on lagwar's site... it says:

Tournament is NOT cancelled. The 2v2 tournament will be held the week of October 7th.

Am working on an official post that will be posted tonite that opens registration and includes all of the particulars of the tournament.

So check back later tonite!  Any questions, comments, or feedback please let us know.

I know it's boring but I really think Cataract is a better competitive 2v2 map than crucible. You pretty much have to have an erebus or lose on that map.

I agree with changing the map selection (but not having to choose erebus or lose on crucible).  Oh well... here's hoping this tournament actuals gets off the ground!

hey hey now.
its all going down.  We really wanted to get the sponsors to hold both 2v2 an 3v3 back to back. unfortunately that wont be the case and we are just launching our 2v2 for now!
