vVv Gaming emerged onto the competitive circuit in 2007 with its explosive
Gears of War team, vVv Vision. After dominating the competition vVv Gaming
set the standard for how Gears of War was and is played competitively. The
aggressive vVv style of play is now the standard tactical approach used by
teams on the MLG Pro Circuit. During this time vVv Gaming also helped
discover many pro players, delivering 8 of the most exciting players to the
MLG Gears of War Pro Circuit. At the end of 2007, vVv Gaming expanded into
the European Union with its EU Gears of War team vVv Focus and captured a
first place finish at XL3 in the United Kingdom.
In 2008, vVv Gaming once again thrilled audiences at XL4 and XL5, as well as
MLG Meadowlands, MLG San Diego and MLG Orlando. At MLG Orlando, vVv Gaming
decimated all the Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 competition with its Rainbow Six
Team: vVv ReWritten. In December 2008 vVv Gaming once again rocked the
world, unleashing its 2009 Gears Of War 2 team: vVv Destiny. The team walked
away from the the WCG Holiday Heroes Tournament taking home $2000.
At the opening of the 2009 MLG Season, vVv Destiny rocked the house at MLG
Meadowlands finishing firmly in the Professional bracket, earning the right
to be called “MLG Pros.” Now vVv Gaming continues to expand its reach with
one of the best Left4Dead teams on the circuit: vVv Devastation, who
consistently dominate their opponents. By MLG Columbus, vVv Less than Zero
joined the ranks, placing top ten alongside vVv Destiny and showing that vVv
is unquestionably a major player in the Gears of War 2 competitive world.
vVv Gaming's continuous expansion includes teams for Killzone 2 with vVv
Victorious Secret, and Call of Duty 4 on the PC with vVv Sagacity added to
its already impressive roster of games. By July 2009, vVv Gaming has boasted
players in 14 countries across 11 titles on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and
PC. Just this May, vVv Gaming formed a relationship with SteelSeries
Professional Gaming Gear as a major sponsor. They now provide vVv Gaming
with support that keeps the teams performing at the highest levels of
competition and continues to sustain the supportive community that makes vVv
Gaming exceptional.
