Hi everybody,
I tried changing resolution, now all I get is a blank screen when I run the game!!
I can hear the music but that's it
I un-installed, then reinstalled but to no avail. What can I do about this.

You could try matching your monitors resolution to what you changed it to. I also believe that there is a config file somewhere in the galciv folder that you could edit to change it. As to where that config file is, you'll have to wait for someone else here to help you.
This probably happened because the resolution you chose can't be matched by your monitor.
Just delete the prefs.ini file from the game's folder under My Documents\My Games to reset to defaults (or you can open it in notepad and change the resolution to one that works).
