It is possible that if you have some antivirus/antispyware/firewall software installed it may be interfering with Impulse. Please try adding exclusions for Impulse.exe within these types of programs. If this does not help, please send us your Impulse error log and your startup/dxdiag info as detailed in this thread: https://forums.stardock.com/341573
