I have installed impulse this weekend because i wanted to update my games SoaSE and GalCiv2.

For both games the download of the updates is starting with acceptable speed but after some minutes they get slower and slower and finally end with "Retrying..." for long times.  For GalCiv I get hundrets and hundrets of error messages with 404 error in the errorlog.  For SoaSE i get a lot of timeout errors.  Yesterday the download of the SoaSE update stopped at about 160 mb of 221 mb with permanent error so i had to restart the whole download.

Antivirus software can't be the problem because i tried downloading while the firewall and antivirus software has been deactivated, and the result has been the same.  My HDD has enough space free. The net connection diagnosis of impulse always succeeded.  I don't think there is a problem with my hardware or software.

So what can I do to finish this downloads?  I tried the whole weekend with no success.  It's annoying.
