Pre-history of Earth
This is a timeline of the events on Earth occuring before the first records of human civilisation.
-- 4.54 BILLION YEARS AGO --
- The accretion of dust orbiting the sun forms the Earth and other celestial bodies.
-- 9600 B.C. --
- Earth is discovered by Aradian colonists. The colonists call for support from Ochuriaz, which promptly sends materials for the construction of a biologically suitable artificial continent known as Astantiõ (semantically shifts into Atlantis) in the center of the Atlantic Ocean.
-- 9200 B.C. --
- The Aradian colonists make contact with primitive humans in North America, North-west Africa, Spain and Italy. Debased elements of the Aradian culture and language will eventually appear in these human societies.
- Colonial leaders decides to cease further colonisation and exploration of the planet to conserve local culture.
-- 9000 B.C. --
- The Saiv Empire discovers Earth. Not yet aware of the Aradian presence, colonists create an artificial biosphere in what would later be known as the Bermuda Triangle.
-- 8500 B.C. --
- Saiv colonists makes contact with primitive humans of the Far East. Orient culture, composed partially of debased elements of Saiv culture, would eventually appear in the Far East.
- The Saiv colonists continue to explore Earth, making contact with and slightly inspiring the culture of humans in the Indian subcontinent.
-- 8400 B.C. --
- Saiv and Aradian colony ships make contact. Without hesitation, the two groups violently exchange broadsides with what little weapons they have, contacting their respective capitals for military support.
- Though the Aradians are far superior technologically, a combination of superior enemy numbers and poor supply lines results in a crushing Saiv victory in the battle for orbit.
- Under the leadership of Lady Havyavati of the Saiv Illuminati Corps, the Aradian colony of Astantiõ is annihilated by siege ships in low orbit.
-- 8390 B.C. --
- Understanding that the colony is no longer safe, Lady Havyavati orders a complete evacuation of Earth, leaving nothing behind.
-- 8350 B.C. --
- The former location of the Saiv colony is struck by a celestial beam from a long-range Aradian 'Theocannon', with the intent of supernaturally cursing the area. From then on, any living being who enters the Bermuda Triangle will be abducted by the Ucori (I admit it, it's a cheesy explanation).
-- 6000 B.C. --
- Human civilisation begins in ancient China.
