Hi,
Just to add my information to the group experience:
System is an Intel Q6600 running at stock 2.4 GHz, with 6GB of RAM on Vista 64. Video card is an nVidia 8600GT (factory overclocked by EVGA) 256MB. Motherboard is an Intel DG33FB with a Bios revision one below latest revision. Nvidia driver is 181.22.
Prior to the Feb. 20 patch release, I was getting Mini-Dump/Crashes with Entrenchment, pretty much at random. It could take 10 minutes, or it could take 6 hours. Got through about 5-6 maps of the Medium Map sizes.
After the Feb. 20 update, I started playing the Gateway map (Medium map sizes. second or third from the bottom of the list of maps). Started the game, and got into the game about 45 minutes, and it mini-dumped. I have learned to save the game at what I believe to be critical points, so I re-started the game, and it now Mini-Dumps about 30 seconds into the game. It does the same with the auto-saved (Auto Save 3) game being loaded. I have tried reducing the resolution of the screen, and the effects levels to high, medium and low, and it still pretty much Mini-Dumps just the same. I have also tried to run it full screen, and windowed, and that doesn't change anything. I have also tried playing the game with no other tasks running, and same behaviour.
There is some sort of severe memory issue going on. I don't know if it is related to the mines, as the current map that is Mini-Dumping doesn't have any mines yet.
