Refinery Ships - Lost the Will To Deliver

Hi,

I have a strange issue, not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same, but in entrenchment, I have several refineries on one of my save games, but all of the refinery ships just sit there motionless.

Just wondered if it was a common bug.

I get the issue playing as TEC. A group of 3 or 4 refinery ships just sit right outside the refinery and dont move.

Mmm... haven't seen this myself....

At least it shouldn't affect anything.  You just get money/resources depending on whether they exist or not, not whether they're actually delivering those vital medical supplies to your Vega 3 colony which was just heavy fallout-bombed.  Maybe this is just fiction imitating reality, inspired by the workings of the US Postal Service.

I also have 3/4 ships sitting outside a refinery I think its normal as credits still keep rolling in. I assumed it was just a queue

noticed the same now that i think about it... though as long as the money comes is i guess it doesnt matter, still im sure its an easy thing to fix.

i noticed that in entrenchment, my longest trade queue was 3 or 4 planets/asteroids... when i completely owned like 2 solar systems and the majority of the third while trading with allied empires... i even put a few starbases in neutral terrotires in around thost trading planets, and the trade lane was still very short?

again, if the money comes in, i dont care, but these effects do add to the game and it would be nice to see them fixed

I don't think it's a bug.....   The ships are waiting to off load..... Also, once refinery quota in near by systems is reached, they pace of the refineries is slowed as is your income from those refineries!!!!!!! It's one of those things were you've delepted the source and ships no longer need to go there......... So, once your reached refinery qouta.... Schuttle the refineries and gets credits unless u don't need it!!!

 

A good tactic, build refineries as early as possible b/c u may need those resources longer into the game..... in my 8 hour game i've played so far, i've reached the quota at a lot of gw and can schuttle these refineries. I've built 800 in this game and 70% of my systems have reached there limit....

not to mention my credits available....... 800000, 262000, 114000 wow...
