Ive recently reinstalled windows and desided after seeing v2.0 for gc2 was released to install the game again, but no matter if I try to run GC2 or Dark avantar or twilligt of the Anor all that happends after the launch screen is a black window opens like its about to start the game. The black window takes up about half the screen(Im running  1680x1050) and then nothing happends. Harddrive is not spinning and nothing happends no matter how long I leave the computer.

If I open task manager then the game is still running so its not because its crashed and not responding. Whats wrong and how do I fix this. I want to try the new update.

This is the first time Ive ever had any problems running the game so this is really frustrating me

Windows XP SP3 fully updated

Latest Directx

and latest official nvidia drivers
