I remember reading an article on Gal Civ 2, before I bought it, which said that once you had a 'paid for' version, you can always download it any time, to any of your pcs, as the company offered total 'freedom' to its paying customers (or similar words !).

This was one of the many reasons I bought the game, as I'm often upgrading my hard drives \ graphics etc.

I recently had to re-download Gal Civ 2 as my hard drive crashed, but as I don't have a net connection on my games pc, I had to use my 'internet' pc - the idea being to transfer the download to my games pc and install it on that.

One problem - the new downloader installs after it downloads !

Please can someone tell me how to JUST download the game without it auto-installing ?
