I do...McCain chose Palin to accomplish what was unthinkable as being able to be done....unite the social, fiscal and libertarian conservatives in the GOP base and it did just that.  Palin fits the GOP platform to a "T"! (which btw is a clear break from GWB's policies).  Bravo for McCain who is a true American patriot and bravo for the GOP.

Ya, funny how the Left is so hep about using the word "inexperience" with Palin.....when in fact, she has more executive experience than Bill Clinton did when he was running for President!

And the folks upwind won't fare any better... the effects of curried cabbage palin' in comparison.  Put simply, the folks who vote for her will undoubtedly suffer and live to rue the day.

Left wing misogyny my arse!  Anyone with half an ounce of sense - from both the left and right  sides of the political fence - can see that Sarah Palin is a political misnomer, a non-event and error in judgement on the part of the GOP.... a catastprophe that's just waiting to happen on a Federal level.

If it weren't so damned serious, I'd find it amusing.... no, downright laughable that Palin supporters can simply overlook the fact that a Repub led Senate inquiry found she abused her powers as Alaskan Governor; that even as Wasilla Mayor there are dubious questions regarding her integrity/honesty; that she built a bridge to nowhere and absorbed the Federal funding for 'pet' projects when they should have been returned.... and let's not forget the more recent $150k (and rising) bill for clothes, shoes and makeup, etc. Shit, I wouldn't have seen that much money in the last 6 - 8 years to live on (food, clothing, housing, utilities, etc), yet she can go out and blow $150K of other peoples money in less than 6 months on sheer vanity. And then of course there's the ten of thousands of Alaskan taxpayers money Palin used to fund little holidays... clothing, flights and 5 star hotel accomodation  for her daughters.

I mean, you wouldn't knowingly marry somebody with these dubious/questionable characteristics or traits, so why in the hell would anyone, knowing all this stuff, vote for Palin and inflict her brand of politics and economics on themselves and their fellow man/woman!!! 

The American public wanted Bill Clinton impeached and ousted from office... to be handed his balls on a platter for having his zipper down more than it was up, yet some of that very same public is happy to vote for Palin, someone who has demonstrably proven she is of more dubious character, politically and otherwise.  Makes no damned sense!!!!

It is deplorable and offensive for someone to a photoshop such as Palin in a KKK outfit, but it's protected speech under the First Amendment. Too bad Nanci Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Obama don't understand you can't silence people's views simply because you disagree with them or find them personally offensive.

Now the King George one is funny. And whether or not you like W., it gets the point across without being psycho about it. In fact, I'd say it's more effective, because many of W's own supporters are going to chuckle at it in spite of themselves.

Maybe McCain knew from the outset he wasn't going to win....so chose a 'running mate' he could blame his failure on....

First, the American Public was indifferent to Clinton.  That he broke the law is a given.  But the majority did not care.

Second, Palin has proven she is of exemplar character, but the press is not.  Her percieved problems are nothing more than a vendetta, and far less than the problems of Obama/Biden when taken on an analytical basis.  The rhetoric is hot, but there is no fuel for the fire.  Just a bunch of people that profess to want to see women get ahead, and when they do, are scared shitless about it and have to demonize her.  No one here can point to anything about her that is any more worrisome than the past actions of Obama or Biden, yet the rest of the world thinks she is some kind of devil.  WHy?  I can think of only 2 possible reasons.

1.  It is a man's world and they hate uppity women (less likely)

2.  They swallow the pap from the MSM in the US hook line an sinker with no critical thought or questions about the propaganda they are being spoon fed.

You realize the point we (I) am making here is that the GOP campaign are hypocritical.

We're supposed to take the Ayers/Acorn crap as presented by the GOP  at face value, yet Palin is married to a secessionist ( read up on the Alaska Independance Party sometime )  And one of McCain's campaign team worked for Saddam Hussein.

We're supposed to condemn Obama for his relationship with Reverend Wright . How about the the public endorsement McCain accepted from Reverend Hagee ( This is the religious asshat who said Katrina was revenge for New Orleans planning a gay pride parade )

Did you read about those things?  Has anyone that does not dig?  Palin is accused of running hard campaigns and using a government account for one of them (and no where in the article does it even state it was illegal).  So what is so bad about Palin?  SHe is not liberal and she is a she.  That is all they have on her. I dont mind people busting on her because they dont agree with her policies.  But to demonize her because she is a woman and not liberal?  That is what it amounts to.  I would suggest you try again.  And this time compare Obama/Biden and see who stinks more.  Then tell me I shoudl try again.  You have not done your homework except to prove your own prejudice.

One only has to so a quantative analysis of the coverage to see why it is all over.  Dont use any subjective measures, just objective ones and you will see they are all in the tank for Obama.  The only thing they have not done is get paid by his campaign.  Yet.

The Kennedys attract a certain group of supporters yes still, the Californian Hispanics are more likely to vote Democrat than Republican and in California Arnies wife attracts more supporters than Arnie for his so called party.

The Irish vote is more likely to be Democrat than Republican as well - the final Peace Settlement was as a result of Clinton/Mitchel intevention and Bush Jr was told to stay away from final signatures to the Agreement as all here knew who had done the grunt work.

Then there is perhaps the matter that they will analyse, think about it all, not listen to you or I, and make their decission based on what is important to them and their future. I hope they do.

No part of my thinking...for I don't think that. Not all Catholic and Evangelicals will vote for McCain/Palin and uphold life, but those who do make up a powerful voting bloc. There is no doubt that the Catholic vote has been pivotal in many elections.

You may be right, but after 1960, the trend is slowly changing. Many Americans regret what the Democrat Party has become today...part and parcel with what the late Pope John Paul II called "the Culture of Death". Archbishop Burke said that the Democrat Party once was "the party that helped our immigrant parents and grandparents better integrate and prosper in American society...but that's not the same anymore."

If the American electoriate really wants abortion on demand, including infanticide,  and Socialism, we know without doubt that the Democrat Party will give it to them.

Whether we like it or not, agree or not, all Catholics have an obligation to hold fast to the teachings of the Church and in living out our call to follow Christ, and being in union with God means we must oppose evil...and what is more important in this day and age than giving witness (by our pro-life vote) to protecting the most innocent of humans amongst us, our littlest brother or sister in the womb?

In 2004, Catholics voted for pro-life George Bush rather than Sen. John Kerry, a Catholic who (like  Joe Biden, Pelosi, Swartzeneggar, Kennedy, etc.) are having serious problems with Church leaders over their pro abortion voting records.
