I'm trying to register GC2 Gold Ed at https://www.galciv2.com/registration.aspx.

I get the error message "Error 3: Serial Number Is Not Registered To This Account"

If this is saying that the serial is in use by another account, know that I just bought the game at Fry's in a new, unopened box.

If there are no updates that apply to GC2 or DA (both installed at v1.5) then I suppose it's no big deal. Not sure if there's any other reason to register the game?

If this is the wrong forum to ask about this, I'll be happy to delete and repost somewhere else. Didn't see a tech support forum on the list
