Some might remember me, most probably won't. I bought GC2 only ten days prior to its release and enjoyed it for a few months. Then I got bored, quickly. DA was then announced and I wasn't too interested--the expansion made the initial release a bit better than I had seen it as. Now TA is in beta, and NOW things are beginning to sizzle.

Only one problem: if I buy the two expansion packs I pay $55.90 instead of the "DL: Gold" $44.95 for the whole deal. What gives? I don't really want to reorder the whole thing because I've already got the base deal -- yet simple upgrading makes me pay more, in the end, than a new adopter.

I understand fairness towards folks who already bought this stuff, but the pricing strikes me as a little ironic/unfair to those who already paid fifty clams when it was first coming out. But now that my interest is back there's no real competitive, perhaps "fair" is the right word, upgrade price for those who have vanilla DL.

Just a thought; I don't actually expect anything to be done about it. If I buy the gold package do I get in on the latest beta?
