Hi there intergalactic leaders!

I am having a weird problem that I have never had before. When I select a group of ships and right-click to tell them to move somewhere, the little blue line from them to the spot where I want them to go appears, but they don't move. The next turn the line is gone and it takes me to the ships waiting for move orders. The only way they'll move is if the space I want them to move to is within the move spaces they can make that turn. All of a sudden this just started happening in the middle of my game, so I'm a bit confused.

Any ideas?
