If the new version is ready, and the majority still can't connect to server, I'll have a solution for that... Filespace is not a problem, infrastructure(svn, I prefer a bugtracker with svn support anyway)is not a problem, but the small testing community.
The truth is, the small galciv2ide project mainly targets north american users, as the game itself. Not too many people know stardock in europe I think. Thus the project relies on transcontinental connection, hence I have to make that sure.
Cellphonegimmicks, unnecessary "gimmicks" on i-mod server, whatever, I am sick of this unavailability trouble, no matter who is responsible for the mess.
Similarly to north american trouble with i-mod, I always have an unusual high respond time from galciv2 site, whereas i-mod is reached very fast, logically 
That is why I prefer i-mod to communicate about galciv2, its simply faster than slow as hell galciv2site.
