How do i join the Metaverse Empires?

hi, Red Raven here... did my last request sound weird? Of couse it did.

I have another though. how do you join one of the bigger races on the metaverse? sure my empire can't do it alone so i need to know how to join others.

P.S. the Overmind is off starcraft, a special zerg building.

Simply go to their page on the metaverse, for example the Diplomats, and click the Join Empire button beneath the empire's logo. Then pick the character you want to join into the empire with.

how do you join one of the bigger races on the metaverse?

(Boy, that Impact tiny font is brutal to try to read, particularly the Italiacs)

As far as joining an empire all you need to do is to go to the Metaverse Homepage and click on the "High Scores" button which takes you to the Top Scores page. If you click on "More" under Top Empires it takes you to the Top Empires page, or you can go there directly here.

From the Top Empires page you can scroll through the empire list or directly search if you have a specific empire in mind. Once you've selected an empire click on it's name in the list and you get to that Empire's Statistics page. There's a "Join Empire" button under the Empire's logo, press that and it will bring up your character list and you can select a character to join the Empire. This is assuming that the empire was created as an open empire. If not you need to be invited to join and in this case I'm not quite sure how the joining mechanism works.

Anyway, that's the mechanics of joining an empire. A bigger question is which empire to join. I would suggest that you check out your prospective empire carefully before joining. Some empires are rather dead others only simply appear that way. Check out the kinds of games that their members submit, check out their web site if they have one and check out their presence on these forums. I could make specific recommendations but I wouldn't want to prejudice your decision.
